ptc-it.de is now peateasea.de

It’s been annoying me for a while now that the URL for this blog somehow just didn’t sound nice. I finally came up with a better-sounding domain name and have thus migrated to it. Presenting… peateasea.de!

Basically the old name seemed somewhat stuffy and probably something made up by someone who turns up to work in a suit and tie (it was the best name I could come up with at the time). However, anyone who knows me knows that that’s not the case (T-shirts FTW! Yay!) and hence I landed on the more flippant name that I use for my Twitter and Mastodon handles. Also, I find the name more amusing to say out loud, so here we are.

After quickly attaching an add-on domain to the old domain name and setting the Apache mod_rewrite config on Hetzner to redirect any requests for the old domain to the new one (so that old links still hanging around the interweb still work), the new site is now live . I’ve also updated all links on the blog, so if any poor soul actually had subscribed to my RSS feed: I’m sorry that I spammed you with updates of old posts!

Now I just need to get back to writing up the stuff that’s been swirling around in my head over the last few months (if not years!). See ya in the soup!
